Lower Rio Grande Water Works Authority (LRGWWA) Case Study
A group of mutual domestic water associations recognized in 2005 that their operations, maintenance, and capital improvement costs were unsustainable. They came together to create the LRGPWWA. This power point presentation and video shows how this was achieved and demonstrates how the authority has been strengthened by those who joined afterward. Together, they all helped to provide economies of scale for their systems and a created a stronger voice for their communities.
